Agreement

By using Receeva, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Service Description

We provide a subscription-based SaaS platform that enables secure sharing of confidential files between organisations or individuals.

Accounts

• You must provide accurate information.
• You are responsible for your account security.
• Accounts may not be shared.

Subscriptions & Payment

• Fees are charged on a subscription basis.
• Payments are accepted by credit or debit card (processed via Stripe) or by invoice and bank transfer.
• Prices may change with 30 days’ notice.

Acceptable Use

You may not use the Service for unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purposes, or attempt to reverse engineer the platform.

Illegal Content

Users must not upload, share, or distribute content that is illegal under UK law. This includes, but is not limited to, child sexual abuse material, terrorist content, fraudulent documents, intimate image abuse, and incitement to violence or hatred.

User Reporting

Receeva provides a mechanism to report concerns about shared files. Due to the encrypted nature of the platform, Receeva does not have access to file content. Reports are reviewed in terms of account and transfer metadata, and appropriate action is taken against the account where a violation is substantiated.

Complaints Process

Users may submit complaints regarding reported content, account actions, or other safety concerns via support@receeva.com. Complaints will be triaged and responded to within 5 business days.

Enforcement Actions

Where a violation of these Terms is substantiated, Receeva may take enforcement actions including user warnings, account suspension, or termination. As Receeva does not access or store file content beyond the transfer window, content removal is not applicable in most circumstances.

Children’s Access and Age Eligibility

Receeva is designed for use by businesses and professional organisations. Individual consumers may sign up where the service is available in their country, subject to the following restriction.

All users must be aged 18 or over. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement. Receeva may implement age assurance measures where required to comply with the Online Safety Act.

Availability

We aim for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access.

Intellectual Property

• We own the software, trademarks, and content.
• You own your input data.

Termination

• You may cancel your account at any time via account settings or by contacting support@receeva.com.
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are issued for any unused portion of a subscription.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts for breaches of these Terms, without liability for any unused subscription period.

Liability

• Service is provided “as is”.
• We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
• Liability is limited to fees paid in the last 12 months.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales.
